As an Electrical Engineer working on various transportation and water projects, you will have the opportunity to assist in delivering cutting edge design services to our clients. Each day, you will work with senior engineers with electrical system design and construction projects to help our clients accomplish their project goals cost effectively, on time, and with the top quality they have expected of CH2M for over 70 years. During your time with us, you will coordinate with other disciplines, direct the work of CAD technicians, and produce specifications and deliverables. You will be part of a team engaged in delivering some of the most exciting projects in the Western United States, and beyond.
Our Electrical Engineers: • Provide design support in producing deliverables, contract drawings and documents, design calculations and analysis • Assist senior electrical engineers in a team environment • Perform start-up and commissioning activities • Prepare specifications and drawings, design electrical distribution and communication systems, review equipment submittals • Work with senior engineers to select and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures • Drive ownership of health & safety in all aspects of project execution, office and personal environments
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in various aspects of electrical design for buildings and industrial systems • Holds an active professional engineering (PE) license • Experience and familiarity with National and Provincial Building and Electrical Codes and Standards, particularly the NEC • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
5-10 years’ experience with electrical systems for water, wastewater, and conveyance systems.
Engineering consulting experience
Strong leadership skills
Desire to grow professionally with each new project
