As a Senior Project Manager for Ports and Maritime, you’ll have the flexibility to work either in our Philadelphia office or in our New York Office. You’ll be joining our dynamic team, with the chance to lead in the delivery of maritime projects ranging from new port developments, container terminals, marine oil and LNG terminals, protection schemes for our coastal communities, regional resiliency projects and waterfront developments for a range of public and private sector clients across the globe. Working with other members of our team, you’ll be managing coastal, geotechnical, mechanical/electrical and marine structural engineers to grow our portfolio of maritime projects. During your time with us, you’ll also have the opportunity to serve as project or design manager on large-scale maritime projects and promote technical excellence and quality on projects, as well as work collaboratively across our client sectors and practices and lead or assist in the development of proposals. Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or coastal engineering required · Professional engineering license · Minimum 18 years of experience in the design, delivery, and management of maritime projects
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
· Master’s degree preferred. · Strong technical background in the analysis and design of various types of marine structures and be able to serve as project and/or design manager on large-scale projects. · Knowledge of the local NY and NJ-based clients, such as the New York City Economic Development Corporation, Port Authority of NY & NJ, Hudson River Park Trust, DEP, Department of Design and Construction, and/or other private and public clients involved with the waterfront are preferred but not required. · Preferred candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams, both domestically and internationally.
