Our Project Manager jobs provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects. Each day, you will have the opportunity to utilize your transportation planning and roadway design expertise to lead transportation-related projects. This position will allow you to use your technical experience, manage projects and mentor and direct junior staff. You should be a self-motivated professional with at least 10 years of related experience along with a Bachelor of Science Degree Civil Engineering. Registration as a PE in the state of Texas is required (or the ability to become registered within three months). Prior experience on TxDOT projects required. This position also requires a technical design background in at least one of the following areas: transportation and/or urban planning, highway drainage, highway design, traffic engineering, as well as familiarity with AASHTO and MUTCD standards. Our Project Managers: •Perform engineering and/or planning tasks for transportation projects •Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages •Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing transportation projects •May coordinate design activities and meetings between staff, subcontractors, and CH2M •Lead projects •Lead and support safety plan •Coordinate the planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety and organization of subcontractors and internal technical and support staff •Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling performance Identify schedule and cost variances and develops and implement recommendations for corrective action Interact with CH2M project teams and client program level directors •Complete tasks within schedule and budget with teams comprised of different disciplines Have strong written and oral communication skills and a team-oriented attitude •Acts as one of the company’s prime contacts with the client and is responsible for overall work progress and technical performance on the project •Works with project delivery leadership who provide oversight and mentoring. •Supports the development of less experienced through active coaching and mentoring •Leads and manages the project team through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with established project delivery processes to the meet the scope, schedule, budget and other specified requirements stated in the contract •Plays a role in the business development activities leading to the award of the contract. This typically includes project-specific positioning activities, proposal preparation, orals presentation, and contract negotiation consistent with established business development processes

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
PE in the state of Texas is required (or the ability to become registered within three months)
