Network Transport Engineering (NTE) is responsible for Network Services infrastructure implementation and project management, including needs analysis, assessment, planning, staging and installation, documentation, billing, and coordinating support personnel. NTEs also support the ongoing management and maintenance of network service components encompassing equipment closets and racks; riser, conduit, power, and cabling systems; switches, routers, and wireless transceivers; architectural and electrical schematic diagrams.
B.A./B.S. required, three to five years of related experience. BICSI RCDD, PMP, ITIL Foundations, and Cisco CCNA wired and wireless certifications preferred. Knowledge and experience with hardware, software, and test and management tools. Knowledge of architectural drawings. Structured cable installation project management experience.
